Hey Lokanadha, I am staying in Chennai the same thing happen with me when I wanted to take Internet connection in my apartment. I think this is the same thing happening in all the apartment, so it is better to talk with your association, take the permission from them and proceed further.

Why not get together at one place on one fine day for all our problems (for.e.g. Lift Issues/Internet Connection/Flat pending works).. and talk to GM.
