Forget about getting a balcony with pots, I just have a spare wall in the balcony and that too with sparing sunlight. Needs tips and photos if possible for some plant ideas. With two small kids at home, cannot keep pots on the floor. Need info on kitchen herbs, but no floral plants because of bees.

Gardening in balcony is nice idea but it needs enough time to take care of the balcony garden. I agree that global warming is serious issue and we need to spread the greenery as much as we can do, balcony garden is also in purpose of spreading greenery.

Great article. People with small balconies —despair not. There is hope. Lovely garden planters, wood fixtures on balcony walls available. These take up no space. Rather they are space creators. Use them and ornamental containers in them to plant flowers.
