Contaminated drinking water in Coimbatore.

I am a resident of Sukrawarpet in Coimbatore and we have been facing contaminated supply water for past few days. What are the civic body officials doing about it? Is there any solution to it?

As far as I know officials had cleaned the pipeline and repaired the crack in the sewage pipe that was contaminating the water and the civic body promised to provide good drinking water at the earliest.
