Hi Neelam, Yes I too read the report in a news source, thank you. According to a lab personnel, People who drink this water will suffer from bone-related diseases. Lab tested 604 water samples from the city in 2011 and found 134 unsafe for consumption. A sanitary pipeline work was taken up by BWSSB for past one week. The civic body removed the old pipes and replaced them with new ones but they have not properly closed it and left the work half done which is creating problem for the people.

Joining a community depends on one's own interests. They cannot force you to join. Check with the apartment management about this matter.
