Yes it is a true news!! Finally BBMP has taken the initiative of penalizing residents who would burn garbage on road. It also states that they will reward Rs 1000 to those who would find such defaulters and report to them.

Till now many drains from which silts have been removed and has not been put back which has created a tension between the residents of Muneshwara Block ‘F’ cross.

Recently Mandur the waste dump yard was hit by a fire accident for which it is not accepting additional garbage, but what about other dumping yards in Bangalore. What is the difficulty?

Four months ago seven shops were burnt in the fire accident and after that BBMP promised to take precaution to prevent fire mishaps, but they did not keep their promise. I do not know what kind of negligence is that.

Since nine months BBMP is not cleaning the slit and waste dumped. The residents have written a letter to BBMP in concern with clearing the silt and if the BBMP does not response to the letter the residents are ready to file a complaint against BBMP in court.

I heard that the two organic waste converter plants is getting installed in Malleshwaram and Jayanagar.

I do not think BBMP is going to take care of the civic issues in Bangalore because it have been long time that there is no regularisation of water supply in Mathikere ward. BBMP have demolished many houses for widening the roads but still now there is no sign of road widening in the city.

I heard that BBMP has planned to widen the city roads, lay footpaths. They have also planned to take up drain works in the city, regular garbage clearance in each ward and to release Cauvery water for Bellandur residents.

Do you know that recently BBMP has taken the initiative to solve the problem by sorting out time for following up the public grievance. BBMP ask the residents that if they feels like updating any civic issue they can visit the BBMP staff from 3pm to 5pm in all the offices and the residents are strictly requested to follow up the timings.

After the super success of Belgian technology "Glutton" which was used to clear up the heap of garbage after New Year in MG road. BBMP is now planning to adopt new technology to sweep the city roads. We are hoping that this time also BBMP succeed.

Yes you are right, BBMP has been neglecting the task of cleaning the garbage for long time in many areas. No doubt BBMP has done lot of civic development work in the past by taking additional funds but it was not at all worth.

No one has the any idea what BBMP is doing with the fund and where they are spending it. When they were asked to show the records for the fund spent there was no reply.

There is no proper answer where BBMP is using the funds. The State’s Fiscal Discipline Act and Karnataka Transparency Act has been violated by the civic body. BBMP claim to have spent Rs 17,410.57 lakh under the Central Reserve Funds (CRF), however there is no such records to show on which project the money has been spent.

The BBMP is planning to construct a high level building in the area. Many shops will get accommodated and will have proper parking facilities.

In the BBMP report one of the officials said that they are taking the initiative for both BBMP and BMRCL that what ever thay promised to the government and to the people will be fulfilled within a period of one month. Every station have to pay the property tax where the metro started functioning and the BBMP will earn 2 crores, the civic body said that they will not collect the tax until the metro starts functioning.

In certain areas of Bangalore the condition of the roads are horrible and the dustbins are overflowing with garbage. The reason is that the number of sweepers are less. The State Government has already approved the appoinments of 4,500 sweepers a year ago but still now they have not got the appointment.
