As far as I know officials had cleaned the pipeline and repaired the crack in the sewage pipe that was contaminating the water and the civic body promised to provide good drinking water at the earliest.

Due to poor maintenance of the flyover, it is threating the commuters life. The BBMP said that they will complete the repair work by the end of coming October.

The ASI is taking several steps to stop the constructions with the radius to protect the monuments and if at all any new constructions is to be carried out then they have to take permission of ASI. But many residents ignored the rule and many constructions have taken place within the prohibited area. ASI official have the power to take action against those illegal buildings but they cannot do much except serve notice.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is fed up of the chaos in the city, the officials said that in spite of road widening the issue still exist. The vehicles, cars as well as the immigrants are increasing everyday so the government decided to widen the remaining roads of the city to make the citizens free from traffic problem.

The Pollution Control Board directed not to discard wastes in the road inspite of that the process continues in Chambakkara Canal at Vyttila. According to the sources, one of th eresident of Kochi has filed a Public Interest Litigation against the civic body. The residents feel low and bad when they see the condition of the city. The entire waste which is generated here are dumped in the water and it is harming the environment, creating health problems as the saughter house is situated in the busiest part of the city which is surrounded by the several houses, bus stands, hospitals and commercial buildings. But still now the civic body has not taken action against it.
