Hi, I am a south Indian bhramin, pure veg, would like to know if anyone can give an accomodation very simple neat and clean with kitchen, working in Andheri,( No habbits of partying , smoking, drink, friends partying etc) - a portion of house with any veg family, or first floor portions, or in top floor with a room and kitchen, would be okay. only genuine owners need call. All proof for any background verification is available and clear. Request help from house owners who can afford to help with possible rent as mentioned.( Married, son is in 1st year Engineering) I have a tight budget of Rs8000 to 9000. Can any one help me. I took a flat on lease. I deposited Rs. 40,000/- as security deposit. When I vacated the flat I was outside the town so my friend vacated the flat. The landlord returned only 20,000/- at that time and told me that when i will return he will return rest of the amount. Now when I came to town, he is not returning my deposit he tells me that he charged Rs. 9,000/- for last month rent(OK), Rs. 2250/- towards society maintenance charges(nothing in the agreement), Rs. 2000/- for cleaning of flat(Too high), Rs, 3500/- for repairing of TV,Fan, Tubelights(TV was about 10 years old, Fan was waorking), and rest amount for water and electricity bill(OK). When I call him he picks my call and tells me that i won't pay. Since last two weeks he is not picking up my call. What should I do? Should I lodge FIR against him or lodge a case against him? please help as soon as possible.
