Ghaziabad is a city based in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The industrial city is hovered with main cities like it is just 19 km east of Delhi and 46 km southwest of Meerut. Earlier it was under Meerut district but later was declared a new district after independence.

It was found by Ghazi-ud-din, the last nawab wazir of Oudh who called the city as Ghaziuddinnagar and later was renamed into Ghaziabad. Historically, it is one of the well prospered city which after research was found to be developed in 2500 BC. The city is home to many freedom fighters who took part in the 1942 Quit India Movement.

The city lies on the Grand Trunk road and is also called as the Gateway of Uttar Pradesh as it is located in close vicinity at the entrance of the state. It has many industries in close vicinity like electric locomotive & EMU Trains, railway wagons, bicycles, glassware, pottery, paint and varnish, heavy chains, etc. It is ranked as one of the most developed cities in India.

Some of the educational institutes in close proximity are IMT Ghaziabad, Krishna Institute Of Engineering And Technology and there are around 80-100 Medical, Dental, Pharmacy colleges making it one of the best educational cities.
