About Greater Noida
Greater Noida is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the cities in the Gautam Budh Nagar district. the city's development is managed by its own civic body called Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). It generally comes under the National Capital Region (NCR) of India.
When Delhi was expanding in term of population and business, Government officials in the 1980s thought of making another city out of it. So, Greater Noida was developed to ease any further expansion with respect to development.
Greater Noida comes under Gautam Budh Nagar Parliamentary constituency and the general population of this sector consists of mainly students. The major population of Greater Noida is filled with Gujjars who were originally farmers from Gurjar.
Some of the major landmarks in close vicinity are Greater Noida International Sports City, Ishan Institute of Management & Technology, IILM Aademy Of Higher Learning, Sharda University, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Parichowk, Jaypee Greens golf course, Galgotias college of Engineering and Technology and many more.
It is located at a distance of 40 km from the south eastern part of Delhi and 20 km from south east Noida. It is about 55 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Greater Noida has been witnessing a high demand in real estate sector as it is fast growing in terms of education and IT industries in the vicinity. The upcoming Metro link will also rise the property rates. Also, a software park will open soon in the proximity by Infosys which will also increase the rate of rent in that area.
