Dodda Nekkundi is a locality settled in East of Bangalore covering an area of 12.12 sq. km. This region was initially a village and has two quite old inscriptions. The first inscription is inscribed in Tamil which is supposed to be dated way back in 1304. The region is supposed to have the artifacts of the earlier era of Bangalore.
