About Kelambakkam
Kelambakkam is one of the fast growing areas in Chennai and is located at a distance of 35 km from the centre of the city. It is located in close proximity with Old Mamallapuram Road which houses most of the IT companies in the city. It is also called as the IT corridor or Rajiv Gandhi Salai.
Kelambakkam is house to many residential localities like Sathankuppam and other areas in close vicinity are Krishna nagar, VIP Nagar, Sri Sai Vighar, Jothy Nagar, Jothy Nagar Welfare Land, Balaji Nagar, Ajith nagar, Ganapathi nagar, Rajeswari nagar, Kanaga Parameshwaran Nagar, Lakshmi Avenue and Sri nagar. One of the most noted film maker, Rajkumar Thevar is the resident of this area.
