Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) seems to be probably upholding the silence mantra midst the residents agony for inconvenience caused in the regular water supply in Bangalore city. Residents belonging to Kammanahalli and many such areas have been lodging complaints to the water supply board since two or three months and have seek nothing but their dumb response. One of the resident belonging to Kammanahalli reported over this issue saying that the residents have always been cheated by BWSSB as they have been facing water woes since 25 years and also he adds on saying that only the corporate residents are provided with sufficient water supply midst the normal citizens are left totally uncared.

According to one of the survey there are nearly 14,861 connections at Pillanna Garden service station limits and also midst these water lines there are 4,834 and odd water lines which have found be laid illegally. The residents are literally astonished to see the extremely well planned illegal connections laid down b the valve men. The water lines have been so well planned and arranged wherein the roads have been segregated separately for regular and also illegal lines. However since 2003 the state government have not traced out a single illegal connection or even taken pains to disconnect those water connections.
