Street dog menace increasing in Bangalore

The street dog menace in Bangalore city is increasing and the residents belonging to few areas are scared to even get out of their houses because of the increase in dog bites.

Dog bites in Garden city is alarming!

With the increasing complaints form residents of the city, the Karnataka State Human Rights Commission Chairman has passed on orders to Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to taken steps to prevent dog bite.

However, an Animal Husbandry Department experts say that dog bite cannot be prevented instead BBMP should take responsibility of control the growing number of stray dogs.

    Hey, I am new to Bangalore. I have been staying here since 6 months. I don’t understand why the stray dog menace is too much in this city. Please guide me where should I lodge complaint about increasing stray dog menace. How to approach BBMP?
