GI or Galvanized pipes are becoming obsolete nowadays as CPVC or Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride pipes are used because of its non-corrosive, more heat resistant and ductile properties. You can choose Marbles or Granites, which tend to be bit expensive. Kota Stone is a limestone and famous for its low price and beautiful colors. People like Kota stones due to its charming appearance and long life. Marbles are a very exquisite choice for your home, but it takes a lot of care such as polishing and also it is very difficult to remove stains on marbles- this is what I have seen in my house. Granites are the best for maintenance and also they look shiny and easy to clean.

Posted on: Oct 06, 2011

Ms. Bidri, might we suggest the use of Vitrified flooring for your house? Simple to put in, easy to maintain & available in a fabulous range. In fact, you will be forgiven for thinking some of the tiles are marble. Prices vary depending from brand to brand.. starting from Rs. 40/- per sft to Rs. 150/- We suggest RAK tiles & you should be able to get a good deal in the price range of Rs. 70-80/- per sft. Please remember all good retailers offer a 20% discount on MRP.

well, ramya, each has its pros and cons. You can get buy a plot at a reasonable rate in some cities- although not in cities like Bangalore, Mumbai. But the construction costs are not to be ignored as they hog all the resources( i mean money). Apartments are ready to occupy and can be a safe investment at an economical rate.

Having a flat/house in an urban region is always a better idea. In an urban place you can get all the necessary things handy. Today, you'll find many ready-made apartments that can meet all your needs and that to in an affordable price. But, still you can build up your dream house packing all the necessary & luxury things in it. It depends on how much time you have, to complete your dream house.

Both places are well groomed in terms of infrastructure and development. But, both involves some advantages and disadvantages as well. Currently, Noida is developing at a faster speed. Many IT/BPO companies are mushrooming in the city. Still, Noida lacks behind in terms of security concern. Unlike Gurgaon, Noida is often surrounded by criminal activities. So, in my opinion Gurgaon will be a perfect place for investment.
