Title deed is a document which shows the ownership and your rights towards your own property. It is a very essential document needed in India. When buying a property from somebody, be sure of the title deed. Do demand the original copy of the title deed. If the seller produces only the photocopy, think twice about whether you want to go ahead with this title deed. Also, find out if the seller may have taken a mortgage on the original deed. When you get the original deed, consult with a lawyer and get it thoroughly reviewed by him/her.

I am staying in Hyderabad for long time and yes it is happening that the builders of unauthorised constructions are cheating the people of Hyderabad, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to initiate action against the illegal construction, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation started to set up hoarding in prime locations like Khairatabad and they are planning to put some more hoardings to educate the people about the illegal structures while they are buying any flats or any commercial areas.
Illegal buildings, constructing in dispute land, encroachment on government land and storm water drains are some of the key issues our Hyderabad government facing from fraud builders in Hyderabad. In most case builders construct illegal buildiungs and make money but people who suffers are property buyers who has to run in legal battle and even end in paying hefty fees for regularizing the buildings. Now GHMC has come up with an innovative way by erecting hoardings and giving public notices in media. Now buyers should also ensure that they dealing for legal building. You can verify building permissions and plans with the local municipal offices.
I personally recommend GHMC also should launch drive against illegal buildings and it should penalize the builders or developers responsible for that than catching property owners after builder sells the property. What do you say? It should not be only in Hyderabad but all over India.

The tunnelling of drain started ten months back and still not completed. The main reason is the lack of cooperation between the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. The authorities are unable to carry out the project as there is no coordination between them. The unfinished works caused major problems like water logging.Works also had to be stopped because of the onset of monsoon in the city.
