The civic issues in Bangalore seems to have no ending and even the civic body also seems to be least interested regarding the civic issues in the city. Recently a electric pole broke pulled by a concrete mixer vehicle and the power wires were also cut threatening life of residents. Residents complained to BESCOM doubting the poor quality used in electric poles. My doubt is that will this threatening life of residents.

The blame is on Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board for giving illegal connection, if the water supply in that area is not possible then should supply water through tankers.

Many meat shops don't have health or trade license for their shop, still they are growing their business by dumping their wastes in an improper manner. So it can be assumed many illegal butchers are the key factors for spreading epidemic diseases in Bangalore. These butchers are dumping their wastes here and there rather thrashing it into proper drainage. This way, the epidemic diseases are rising by ruining the city's environment.

Hi, what kind of flooring does it suit for a Pool Room?

Hi, What type of flooring should I use for creating a Pool Room? How about Wood or Granite floor?

Answers

It is better if you avoid wooden flooring as it creates a lot of noise from heavy footsteps. Also, it doesn’t suit for places of loud music and the wood squeaks at certain places. A hard floor surface is best suited for a pool house, where music is played aloud. You can incorporate LED, laminated between non-breakable glasses for some nice ambience inside the room.

Posted on: Oct 04, 2011

Also, if there is smoking allowed in the Pool Room, using carpets isn’t a good practice for the obvious reasons. If you are hell bent on using woods, they Maple Wood Flooring is apt for the complete setup.

There are two ways of knowing the direction of your apartment. First is you can use a compass, the device for finding direction which has a freely moving needle which always points to the magnetic North. Second you can fold a paper in such a way that four lines are made dividing the paper at 90 degrees. Place a compass on the paper in the middle of your apartment and allow to align the North and South direction with two of the lines on the paper. Extend these lines on the plot and mark it to have exact direction.

It is good to know that you want to take up the initiative. The production of waste in households is a global environmental concern. The root of the problems lies in the attitude of both the authorities and the residents. There are various stages of the waste management and recycling such as monitoring the waste, collecting the waste, Transporting the waste to proper waste management facility, Processing or recycling and Disposal of un-recyclable waste. You can first segregate the waste and choose different coloured bins for disposing different types of wastes. You can encourage other residents in supporting waste management. Reduce, Re-use & Recycle the waste. You can also create awareness among your neighbors, garbage collectors and garbage contractors. Seek help from professional or non-profit organization in the field of Solid Waste Management.
