Yes you are right the project was about to get completed by 2008 but unfortunately due to some reason the project got delayed. They have extended the completion date till January 2012 but still now there is no sign of completion.

All the property owners who owns property within the BBMP jurisdiction are eligible to obtain a Khata. Property tax can be paid by any property owner who may or may not have Khata. But Khata is important when you apply for any license of building or for trade, applying for loan from banks.
