In Swarnarag, the wooden work like doors and windows have been started. Floor tiles have been laid. I presume the possession date might extend till next year.

Mr. Debashis, there are more than 15 families who have been handed over their apartments, on special request, in Purbaraag and have already started living there. You can too approach Bengal shelter for expediting your handover. However, the common areas isnt usable as of now. The water and electricity is provided from the construction quota and is charged at a premium.

I too have a flat in Block 10 2A.. They have not yet provided any date. As per BengalShelter they can expedite the process if they have more request from same block.

Bengal Shelter is a concern tagged with Govt of West Bengal. They promised to hand over the flats within 36 months of booking but failed miserably and that too without any remorse and with defiance. They are setting new deadlines for handover every six months only to flout them. What pressed the panic button is that a leading Home Loan Bank sort of black listed this company for some legal problems with them, as they put it. Again they allure new customers by saying that they would handover the project by end of 2010 when they tell the old customers that the project cannot be completed by end of 2011. The construction work is going on at a snail’s pace not to finish the project but to allure new customers to sell the remaining flats. As of now the delivery time is at the end of 2011 as they put it but we think they have no plan to complete the project in next five years. I am worried too! For past few months B. Shelter is not providing the "status" update as well in their website..... I mean, the pictures of the project. When I visited Shelter's office in Jan I was told that the project would be delivered by Dec' 10. Any update on this..anybody?

today(03.07)i visited the site and found that project work is going on rapidly.the engeeners are present at the site for direct supervision the work.

The latest they told me is June 2011. Anybody agree?
