The Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) is being blamed for its incomplete work kept pending in property tax collection.
Even though its the responsibility of MCC to keep track of regular property tax collection, there is a huge pending tax payers list in the office.
Higher officials renewing the work of MCC, expressed concerns towards the poor collection of property tax!
Neither property tax has been collected nor the demolition of illegal structures has been done by MCC. At present the problem has been put up to city mayor and a issue in concern with water tax collection was also raised!
