The illegal construction activity at Sarjapur Main Road in Bangalore has right now been a matter of concern!
It has been recently learnt that this illegal construction around the rejuvenated Kaikondrahalli Lake on Sarjapur Main Road has violated the Supreme Court directives.
Long time before the village Panchayat of Kaikondrahalli had allotted this land for construction of temple.
However, according to the Supreme court orders none of the construction should happen in the surroundings of lake as it is considered as buffer zone.
Beyond the ground realty, temple construction commenced and many concerned residents lodged complaint to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
Later on it came into light that even BBMP has allowed construction of private service station at the entrance of the water body. Knowing this matter, residents are fed up with the ironic role play held up by namma BBMP.
