Garbage channels and blocked sewage pipes had been a problem for long in Lakshmidevinagar ward.
Bruhat Bangalore Mahangara Palike (BBMP) has failed to do the needful which resulted in unpleasant view and bad stench in the neighbourhood.
The old pipes are not being replaced in the ward for a long time making it a breeding ground for mosquitoes giving rise to diseases.
Other than the sewage problem, drinking water problem is the next main problem faced by the residents.
