Can modifications be done to an under construction apartment on the elevation side of the property?
Q: The Kitchen happens to be on the elevation side of the property. Due to small space, we are looking to break the utility area and close out the walls. However, the engineer declined saying that it cannot be done and tha It will be difficult to get the occupancy certificate which makes sense. So the question is, post OC, can the PUSCHASER makse such changes? Whats are the implications to it? If yes, what is the way to go about doing it? That flat is on the 4th floor.
Hello...Jose, Unless you get OC certificate you can't do any construction in your flat. You can fix windows or temporary glasses, but you cannot construct a wall there.
Thanks Gurmeet. I've been told that the OC certificate will be given a couple of months prior to the possession or hand over. Are you saying that once i ge tthe OC, i can then pretty much do what i want? To the extent of even constructing a wall? Or the wall doesnt work out at all?
