Society was registered as “Post & Telegraph Employees Credit Co-operative Societies Ltd” in 05-01-1951 vide Registered No: 188\DR\1950-51 Bangalore and also (Recognized by the Director General of Post and Telegraph - New Delhi). Consequent upon the bifurcation of Post & Telegraphs by the ministry of communications & renaming of Department of Telecom {D.O.T} as B.S.N.L. Accordingly our society name was changed to Karnataka Telecom Department Employees Co-operative Society Ltd {CREDIT & HOUSING} vide order UBC- 3\UBA\151\99-2000 dated 10-12-99 by the registrar of Co-Operative Societies in Karnataka.

This is first gated community layout proposed by Telecom Department Society in Bangalore and Mysore. They have almost 16 layouts in Bangalore and Mysore. The 30acer proposed gated community layout is situated on state highway 207 the way to chiktirupathi from sarjapura Bus stand. It is just 4km from sarjapura bus stand. The Layout is situated adjacent to Railway layout, next to pebble creek villa plot and opposite to Kristal villa project. The layout is just 5km from proposed Infosys SEZ campous and Wipro Foundation University. The proposed Layout will have 30ft x 40ft, and 40ft x 60ft plot sizes. There is proposal of Satellite Ring Road (STR) which will be passing in front of Layout.
