Ceiling fan tips!
I would like to know more about fans – ceilings, table, artistic and innovative. How can they be used to accentuate a space?

Ceiling fans are a great option to save electricity as opposed to air conditioning as they consume very less units of electricity. What you need to keep in mind is that the fans must be installed properly. Often unlicensed electricians work at installing fans and if it is badly installed, it can waste a lot of electricity.
Buying guide:
Always go for a higher service along with higher air delivery when selecting your ceiling fan. A high-quality fan has several traits – one of the most important being it moves air effectively and quietly. The parts are well designed, made from high-grade materials, and sport lasting, attractive finishes. The motor has several speeds. And, it’s backed by a long-term warranty (at least 10 years). Low-end fans lack quality in construction and design – they’re likely to wobble and hum even at low speeds.
The idea is to buy a fan with a motor that is the strong, silent type.
Although fans are rated by the amount of air they move, measured in cubic feet per minute (cfm), these ratings are not terribly relevant because they are not based on universally accepted standards and because a fan is rarely used at full speed.
Installing a fan:
It is very important to check the size of the fan in proportion to the room as well as the blade pitch before installing the fan.
When you are installing a ceiling fan, there should be at least 24 inch space between the blade and the ceiling. If the space is not proper, the air delivery will not be right. Special care should be taken when installing fans on false ceilings so that there is enough space between the blades and the ceiling.
Timber Blades:
Timber has a rigidity, a long life span and looks chic. Often, processed wood is infused with plastics to make a sturdier blade that won’t warp because of the moisture in the air. These fans look well groomed and classy.
Metal Blades:
These fans are among the most durable in the market. Colour the blades to blend into the ceiling.
Cloth Blades:
Although they provide the same cooling power as the blade types, cloth blades add a stylish accent to a room. They are, however suited for small rooms.
Accentuating your space:
If your area or house contains an up-to-date design, you must select for a ceiling fan that has lines that can match a modern chic or retro modern decor. Although, modern ceiling fans weren’t used as decors before, they’re currently beginning to fill the blankness of bound home decor schemes in most modern designed homes.
For the nature-designed homes, there are ceiling fans that have natural patterns, such as trees and leaves, integrated in their designs. If your whole area is galvanized of a sure period or era, there are some ceiling fans that are created with ornate period-influenced style and finishes that will take you back in time. Sleek and retro-fashionable ceiling fans are currently made with added functionality.
For table fans:
We recommend the new bladeless fan series that looks like a seamless orb sans any blades. Very New Age and has the look of a spaceship accessory.
