Gardens For Beautifying Your Apartment

One always ruminates of various ways of beautifying their properties in India. Gardening is one of the decorative options, as there are various ways by which one can adorn their apartment and their surroundings. Gardening can be done in various styles and shapes. Here are a few interesting styles of gardens for your apartment;

Aquascaping: This type of gardening is apt for indoor gardening. The name depicts the type of gardening; i.e, water gardening. One can start collecting various aquatic plants (Bolbitis heudeloti, Hydrilla) pebbles, artistic water cravings or any other creative accessories. One can start placing the plants in the desired manner inside the aquariam. One can place the requirements in distinct styles. Other than just plants one can also breed fishes, rockwork or hardscape inside the aquascape garden. Make sure that at the end your aquascape garden looks like a creative artful underwater landscape. In order to maintain a good condition of your aquascape garden, one has to religiously sustain the various factors like filtration, fertilization, carbon di oxide supply, lighting and the control of algae. Bottle garden: This type of gardening is done in a plastic or a glass bottle which has a narrow neck and a minor opening. Plants in bottle gardening are grown inside the bottle with a very little or non-exposure to the outside world. In order to maintain a healthy bottle gardening one has to provide the plants with equal amount of fertile soil, water, a water reservoir and an attractive bottle. These types of gardens are the perfect gardens for your apartment. One can also plant vegetable plants in order to decorate their apartment. Before planting a plant in the bottle, one has to grow the plant in a pot in order to get a solid root. Keep the bottle in the sunlight for few minutes and later plug opening of the bottle with a cotton ball. Proper maintenance and cleaning of the residues has to be followed. Plants for bottle gardening are Peperomoia, Maranta, Selaginella, Pilea and others. One can also get ready made bottle gardens for your flat.

Container gardening: This is the practise of cultivating plants exclusively in containers. The widely used object for this type of gardening is the pot which is made up of terracotta or plastic. This is one of the easiest methods of gardening in an apartment. Ornamental plants or plants like cactus, herbs, vegetables and others can be grown. It is a convenient method of gardening wherein one does not have any hassles of weed growth, soil borne diseases and easy re-potting.

Botanical garden: This style of gardening displays a wide range of plants tagged with their botanical names. One can plant a specific species of plants like cacti, corms, bulbs, mint, basil, rosemary, thyme and others. Also exotic and alpine plants can be planted as well. The main aim of having a botanical garden is to maintain an innumerable species of plants for various purpose. Although creating your botanical garden will require a lot of effort and money, but it will serve various purposes.

Colour gardening: Colour gardening is one of the best ways of decorating your surroundings. The technique of this type of gardening is that one can raise plants which bear the same colour flowers in a particular place along with different colour flower plants. One can just plant a single coloured flower plant rather than mixing it up with different colours. A white garden is also one of the forms of colour gardening in which plants which produce white colour flowers are planted. If an individual is looking for a peaceful and calm environment, this type of gardening is the best option. Flowers which can be used for white gardening are; White Lilac, Madonna lily, White Camellia and so on.

Community gardening: This gardening style is apt for people who are nature maniacs and reside in an apartment. This is a form of gardening where a group of people are allotted with a land and are free to cultivate their desired plants and vegetables. The main aim of having a community garden is to provide fresh produce, connection to nature, neighbourhood improvement and so on.
