Mr C. Gopalan, the Founder and Director of Gopalan Enterprises, is an accomplished architect from the reputed JJ School of Arts, Mumbai. He is accompanied and assisted by his sons Mr C Pramod and Mr Prabhakar, both also highly trained architects. Mr Gopalan’s quest is to provide his home city, Bangalore, with construction that is made timeless by its designs, amenities and quality.

Residential: As a forerunner in the development of Bangalore, Gopalan Enterprises has nearly 39 residential projects with 6402 units. 37 projects are completed and ready to move in. Another 3 projects are to be launched, shortly, by the third quarter of FY 2018. 10 projects are in different levels of construction. All residences are at prime locations, across Bangalore, and aim to provide comfort, luxury and superb connectivity. With major tech parks, malls, shopping centres, schools, colleges, hospitals in immediate vicinity, the ease of the customer is of utmost importance. With a huge focus on coexistence with the environment, the apartments, row houses, villas are designed to offer maximum unconstructed areas. Commercial and Retail: In the list of accomplishments of Gopalan Enterprises is the first commercial project launched in 2006. Gopalan Promenade Mall, with its rich Hoysala inspired architecture, paved the path for several more ventures in this space. Today, there is nearly 5 mn sqft of commercial space available plus an additional 1.6mn sqft of retail space. Global Axis, an 18 acres SEZ is the first in its domain by Gopalan Enterprises. Education: With the growing know how in construction came a growing urge contribute in different domains to the growth of Bangalore. The first of the current four schools opened its doors in 2006. The curriculum and the staff were chosen with great care and thought. The curriculum ranges from ICSE to IGCSE and IB. The schools are designed to maximise learning through experiential methods and the staff is trained regularly to upscale its skill base. The state of the art infrastructure, from sports to laboratories, playgrounds to classrooms, every aspect has a long term vision process involved. Apart from junior education, Gopalan Enterprises also has 4 colleges covering Engineering and Management, Architecture, Commerce and Pre University. Organic Farming: 2009 saw the birth of Gopalan Organics. The 120 acre farm, with its 55 tunnels and green houses, ensures the very best practices are adopted for a truly organic produce. Ms Sunita Prabhakar, the director initiated this venture with collaboration from an Israeli company for technical support. Located on the outskirts of Bangalore, the farm cultivates, harvests, packages and delivers the produce on a daily basis to the local population. It is currently working with severallarge supermarkets like Spar, Godrej Big Basket and others apart from its own two stores.

CSR: The constant need for ensuring the coming generations has a better, more vocation oriented training inspiredGopalan Enterprises to contribute to the nation through a Skill Academy. This venture builds skill for various sectors. The centre provides learning solutions for business, Govt., PSUs, Universities, multilateral agencies/ NGOs and individuals. In Bengaluru, Gopalan Skill Academy has been affiliated with Skill Development Schemes under, Central & State Govt. funded programmes.
