Budget 2014 : 5 Industrial Corridors to look for
Along with newly proposed Vizag-Chennai Industrial corridor, five industrial corridors will be developed. This will have a huge impact on the industrial real estate on the country. There will be an increase in the demand of warehousing and storage. The five corridors pass through many existing industrial clusters and industrial towns and cities. Thus, these cities and towns will be the investment regions and impact areas in terms of industrial and residential real estate in the times to come. Further, the government has proposed setting up of NICA (National Industrial Corridor Authority), which will be responsible for the execution and management of these 5 industrial corridor projects.
