Entryway:
One of the main areas to decorate for a house party is the entrance. Decorate the outdoor and the entrance of your apartment with embellishments. Accessories like beaded curtains, colourful plants, wall hangings and many such things can be used. The exteriors of the doorway can be decorated with ornamental plants lined with LED lights which can make the entryway look sophisticated. In case you are throwing a theme based party, you can have the decorations based on the theme. You can also have signs in the entryway informing the guests about the theme. Balloons and colourful papers can also be used for decoration.
The tables and the dining area:
The furniture in your room can be decorated according to the theme to create the desired ambiance. The culinary and the tableware can be chosen and arranged accordingly. One can add charm to the house party by decorating the dining area with colourful drink umbrellas, straws, glasses, and napkins at the bar. A brightly coloured flower centrepiece can be showcased on the dining table along with a bowl of fruits and vegetables. In case you have thrown a party for your child’s birthday or honouring someone, you can place pictures or a collage of the guest of honour on the dining table.
The dance floor:
Although you are hosting a house party, you can have a dance floor for your guests. Hire a famous DJ and request him/her to play some upbeat songs. One need not create a stage for the dance-floor but can create space for the guests to dance. Install colourful lighting to make the area more suitable along with few disco balls and other small colourful lights.
