It’s time for the bells to jingle, Santa to come, its Christmas time! We all wait for this time of the year. It’s time to decorate our homes. We have got million things to do. During Christmas time, it’s the home decorations that gives life and make our home colourful. Gifts, celebrations, food, parties and fest are all that we look forward. Christmas tree:
The most important and central point of your decorations for Christmas is the Christmas tree. Without Christmas tree, the Christmas decoration is incomplete. You can decorate your tree by tying a red ribbon at top, hang colorful sparkling bells, stars, small Santa Claus dolls, socks, etc. Make sure that your Christmas tree is not too taller or huge which will make it look out of the place. You can also put LED lights all around the tree to make it shine during the night.

Traditional Christmas flower:
A Christmas flower, be it natural or artificial, will make your room look more glittery, vibrant and lively. Place the Christmas flowers in vessels or you can decorate your window panes and entrance door with attaching the flowers to it.

Stars:
During the birth of Jesus, the kings followed the stars, to find out the location of his birth, hence stars hold an important part in Christmas. We can light up our homes and Christmas tree with artificial, glittery, glass, paper made stars as a part of the decorations.

Wreath:
Wreath is an assortment of flowers and leaves which gives the shape of a ring. Basically this is a symbol of strength and evergreen harvest. Wreath brings good luck charm in the house, and a must buy for the Christmas decoration. You can place them on entrance door, on the wall above the fireplace, windows, etc.

Candles:
During 18th century, candles were used to light up the Christmas tree. Now we use electrical lights for lighting up the Christmas tree, but this winter we can bring back the traditional way of decorating the tree with candles. You can get colourful candles in different shapes such as Christmas tree, Santa Claus, stars, and many more.

Socks:
Santa, the father of Christmas, comes with gifts and put it on the sock that we hang outside our house. You can surprise your kids by keeping some chocolates or books on the socks as gifts for them. As a decoration, you can hang them on the window, above fireplace and doors. You will get variety of colors, designs and prints in market.

This is main ingredient for decorating the Christmas tree and you can hang them on every entrance as wind chimes.

You can have miniature dolls of Santa and reindeer. It will be a cute and adorable way to decorate your home this Christmas. Use these dolls to decorate the Christmas tree.

This Christmas you can decorate your house with themes. For e.g. White Christmas – for a newly wedded couple. They can have a white Christmas theme and have a romantic dinner for both or can even arrange for a small party with family. Use a white table cloth to cover the dinning table, get a white cotton made Christmas tree, beautiful accessories in white color and a bunch of white roses. In the white cotton Christmas tree, hang different colored bells and stars which will give a soothing as well as an attractive look.
Likewise you can have red theme, which is the basic color for Christmas like red bells, red gift wrappers, red clothes, red bells, red socks etc. You can try blue, green and pink themes also.
