Tips to rejuvenate a tired space in your apartment
Each week, giving your tired living space a new look by rearranging and reinventing will free up the creative energies and will make your life phenomenal. Some useful tips are;
1) Implement the art of Feng Shui in your interior decoration before you start rearranging your apartment. Start by clearing the unnecessary clutter in your apartment as this will help you view the possibilities of further arrangement.
2) Gather all the artworks in one room. Wipe each picture thoroughly, frames and glass before putting them back on the wall. You can change the positions of the pictures or replace them with newer ones.
3) Arrange all the everyday bits and pieces and accessories like candles, needles, tools, letters, cards, etc and put them all in a box. Gather all your treasured items, clean them thoroughly and keep them in a separate noticeable box. A Feng Shui rule is that, surrounding ourselves with things we love will create positive energy.
4) Take away all those items which you think are not working well such as furniture, storage spaces and others. If you believe that they are fetching you bad luck, keep them away in a store room. Avoid having too many furniture pieces in a room and let your room breathe. Make a rule that you keep just few specific pieces of furniture in the room.
5) Upholstery for large furniture in your apartment should be of solid colours with neutral patterns. Also have neutral coloured pillows and throws to create a calming effect. Avoid using bright coloured fabric for your huge bed or sofa. Bright colours go well with delicate chairs. You can perhaps have vibrant coloured throws and pillows for your large furniture. Keep the rooms looking fresh by changing the pillow covers and other fabrics often.
6) To keep the conversation going well with your guests, keep the furniture closer and away from the wall. Placing the furniture far reduce the chances of gravitation inside the room. You can create a separate conversation space in your room by placing sofa and other seating objects opposite to each other. The spare chairs can be placed in any other room and can be used when required.
