A good deed is not necessarily always appreciated!
BBMP is soon to start door to door garbage collection campaign and will shut down the present disposal of garbage in garbage bins and pits.
However, a corporator from Rayapuram ward has taken the initiative of building a garbage pit in the Jagajeevanram Nagar Referral Hospital.
The residents when came to know about the incident, protested in front of the hospital saying the garbage dumped in the premises would affect the patients’ as well as nearby passerby’s health.
The corporator just wanted the nearby residents to dump their garbage in the pit.
