Construction of Mulund-Airoli Bridge also played a key role in the expansion and growth of Airoli.

The establishment of proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport will be a major growth factor for the locale, and prices of properties in the locality have already increased after the announcement of the airport in Navi Mumbai. The upcoming airport will be about 19 km from Airoli.
Palm Beach Marg, a coastal expressway connecting Belapur to Vashi is proposed to be linked to Airoli. This will boost the connectivity further.
