ACG Worldwide to unlock land
The famous industrial house, ACG Worldwide (Associated Capsules Group ) has collaborated with Vastushodh Projects, one of the leading real estate developers in the city, for creating affordable homes in Shirwal, which lies along Pune – Kolhapur highway.
Under the joint venture, ACG Worldwide would provide its 16 acres of land to Vastushodh Projects for the development of a residential project at Shirwal. The said project would provide 1/1.5 and 2BHK flats. As per official reports, around 210 flats would be retained by ACG and provided to its employees, while the rest 640 flats would be offered to the market under ‘Urbangram’ project. The commercial launch of the site would happen on 23rd August, 2013.
ACG Worldwide is a renowned name in the pharmaceutical sector. The firm serves over 80% of Asia’s pharmaceutical prescription market and is ranked amongst the largest producers of pharmaceutical empty hard gelatin capsules in the world. The company engages in granulation and coating; capsule filling; tableting; packaging films; blister packing and carton packing of capsules.
Vastushodh Projects is a real estate firm, founded by Sachin and Nitin Kulkarni. Based in Pune, the company concentrates primarily on developing affordable housing units, for the lower and middle income group customers. The company has established itself in the real estate sector with a credit of having completed about 1700 housing units at multiple locations in and around Pune. The company has set a target to enter and expand its developmental activities, to a wide range of geographical areas in the state. It is currently in the process of developing over 13000 units of affordable spacing units in about 7.5 millions square feet.
Mr. Ajit Singh from ACG Associated Worldwide said that the concrete and systematic efforts of Vastushodh in creating good quality affordable homes prompted them to explore an association with them, for creating a housing complex for their employees. Sachin Kulkarni, Managing Director of Vastushodh Projects said that the step taken by ACG to handover land is significant and that it would unlock the land in possession of such corporate giants, enabling the growth of real estate.

Lying in proximity to National Highway-4, the locality offers an excellent opportunity of growth and proves to be an ideal option of investment. The area is well connected to other parts of the city, as well as the metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai. This further adds to the advantages of investing in Shirwal.
The sizes of flats constructed by Vastushodh under the newly constructed ‘Urbangram’ would range between 350 and 790 sq ft and would be priced between 10 and 25 Lacs. These flats would feature all typical amenities and facilities provided by other Urbangram projects of Vastushodh.
