1.Jaipur is the capital and the largest city of Indian state i.e Rajasthan in Northern India.
2.The Jaipur Municipal Region had a population of 30.72 lacs in 2011 which is projected to grow to 81.2 lacs in 2031.

4. Jaipur metro will be constructed in two phases.
5. The First route i.e East-West corridor of Jaipur Metro rail will connect Mansarovar to Badi Chaupar with a total length of 12.067 Kms is being executed.
6. The North-South Corridor connects Ambabari to Sitapura with a total length of 32.099 Kms.
7.The total number of stations will be 31 out of which 23 will be elevated and 8 are underground
8.There will be also a reduction in accidents and the roads stress will be reduced and there will be an economical stimulation in the micro region of the infrastructures with the implementation of the metro project in Jaipur.
9.After the overall implementation of the metro project, there will be a further huge rise in the demand of the residential projects here.
