Aluva, Kochi sees convergence of Luxury and Affordable residences
Aluva, which is located about 26 km north of Kochi has gained in prominence as a residential destination in recent years. Due to its strategic location along the NH-47, it is a much sought after area for residential property. Aluva is well connected to all areas in the vicinity through the NH-47 which runs along the area. Aluva has a railway station where most of the trains stop. The Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery is located about 12 km away from Aluva, off the NH-47 at Athani, via the Airport Road.

Aluva has some excellent infrastructure facilities inspite of being an emerging realty market. Some of the reputed schools in the area are the Talent Public School, SPW High School, Rajashree School etc. Two prominent colleges in Aluva are the UC College and the St. Xavier’s College for Women. Some important religious institutions in the area are the Sree Mookampika temple, Uliyannoor Shiva temple, Kunnathery Jamaath, St.Joseph’s church etc. There are a few hospitals in the area like Carmel hospital, Karothukuzhi Ayurveda hospital etc which provide quality health-care facilities. Besides, there are many other important facilities like banks, shopping centres, restaurants, companies including a few belonging to the IT sector etc. Aluva is also renowned for being the place where the three tributaries of the famous Periyar River converges with the Pooyamkutty River. The Aluva Sivarathri Manappuram which is renowned for hosting the Sivarathri celebrations annually with religious grandeur is located at the meeting point of these rivers.
