The last two quarters also saw considerable appreciation in rates, with the rate reaching Rs 2,407 at the end of Q1 2014 and Rs 2,665 per sq. ft. at the end of Q2 2014. The rate of appreciation in the last quarter compared to one before that was a whopping 15 per cent.
