Luxury is defined by the style that is added to one’s life. And this style comes in variant forms. For instance, properties situated in and around city centre are priced higher due to its location factor and thus termed luxurious. On the other hand, luxury is also defined by the unit size coupled with luxurious amenities or theme-based designs within the project. Interestingly, definition of luxury differs from city to city.
In Bangalore, as per this report, luxury homes including both apartments and villas are essentially those properties that have a ticket price above Rs 2 crore. Additionally, we have analysed CommonFloor data of these luxury properties between 2013 and 2015. The luxury properties available in the market have been categorized in different price ranges and unit sizes for better understanding of the key trends in the category. In addition to this, detailed characteristics of luxury projects in each price and size bracket have also been listed.
