Home made wall clocks for the kid’s room
We all know that we should recycle the waste and we all do separate the plastic, paper, and organic waste for the sake of waste management. However, have you ever thought of recycling the water from home and converting it into a very usable product?
Add the personal touch along with a unique design element in your kid’s room by making homemade wall clocks. All you will need is a drilling machine, a clock mechanism that you can find very easily in the nearby craft shop, numbers from one to twelve, glue, cardboard, poster colors and any recyclable material you have at home. The recyclable material can be the broken parts of your kid’s toys or the board of the dice game etc.
Wall clocks made by used sketch pens and jar’s cap:
To make this colorful wall clock you will majorly need twelve used sketch pens, lid of a used jar, a tape, a small clock mechanism and a pencil. Take the lid of the jar and do the measurement using an inch tape to divide it into twelve equal parts with a pencil. Then, take the driller and make a hole in the center and twelve holes on the sides of the jar. Please make sure that the diameter of the hole should be smaller than the diameter of the sketch pens. Now, insert the clock mechanism shaft through the hole in the middle of the lid and attach the hands by securing them with some type of nut or cap. Take the sketch pens and put them inside the holes on the side of the lid.
Wall clock made by packaging cardboard/ playing board:
Take a carton from the store, sketch the favorite fruit of your child and cut it out using a scissor. Use the scale to find the center and take any sharp instrument to make a hole. Paint the cut cardboard using the poster color to make it more colorful using similar shades as that of the fruit. Now repeat the above procedure of installing a clock machine. You can keep this clock on the table of can also place a hook on the wall, to hang it. Similarly, the board of any old board game can also be used to make the clock. One can also stick numbers by marking the twelve point’s properly, using a protractor or one can also stick some interesting broken parts of toys on the sides to make it more colorful and interesting.
Create a human running wall clock:
Take two old plates and color them black. Use the cardboard to make the lower body of running humans. This interesting idea symbolizes running time, and you can hang this clock against your kids study table. You can also paint “its the time to save water” on the base of the clock and hang it in the bathroom. This is to tell your kid to take a smaller bath every time.
