Public Transport:

Some of the major schools in the locality include MNR School of Excellence, K P C English High School and ST Joseph High School. Real estate and price trends:

Incessant growth of Kamothe has ranked the locality high in the real estate market. Also known as the Jewel of Navi Mumbai, the locality is aided by state-of-the art infrastructure and amenities. The established locality mainly offers 1 BHK,2 BHK and 3BHK apartments to its buyers. The price range in April-June 2012 was Rs 4600- Rs 4800, while the price range in April-June 2013 was Rs 15000- Rs 17000 per sq ft. In one year, there has been a hike of 23% in the rate of multistorey apartments. The rental value per sq ft for a multistorey apartment is Rs 13, while for a residential house it is Rs 10.
