Mosaic techniques

- Indirect method: In this method, the tesserae are stuck on a temporary surface with water and soluble glue. Once it is arranged the temporary surface is pressed into a bed of adhesive or cement. Once it dries the temporary surface can be taken off by soaking in water or tearing it up. This technique is quite useful as it can serve purposes in large areas as well as smaller areas.
