New affordable housing project in Pune
The Pune-based construction company Supertech Constructions, has launched a housing colony by the name Defence Colony, at Wagholi village in Pune. The residential colony offers quality apartments in a well-developed society, at prices which are approximately 20 to 30 % lower than the current market price.
The residential complex is targeted at the defence, police and paramilitary personnel. While 60 % of the reservation is open for defence, 20% is open for police and other forces and the rest 20%, for common citizen.
Market reports say that the project is built on a no profit, no loss basis. Almost 50% of the project is already sold out and the customers have paid about 30% of the total sale price, upon booking.
Area and number of flats
A total of seven buildings are constructed under the project, which feature 1,2,3 and 4BHK apartments. There are eighty eight 1 BHK and 2 BHK flats, and thirty two 3 BHK and 4 BHK flats under the project.
1 BHK apartments provided under the project have an area of about 550 sq.ft., while the 2BHK apartments have a size of about 863 sq.ft. The 3 and 4 BHK apartments are built in an area of about 1200 sq.ft. and 1380 sq.ft., respectively.
Features of the project
This residential project is spread over an area of three and a half acres and is located on Ahmednagar highway, about 10 km from Pune railway station. In addition to residential units, the project offers amenities like swimming pool, kids pool, temple with flower garden, children’s play park, senior citizen zone, club house, generator back-up for lift and common area, basket-ball court, gymnasium etc.
Eco friendly measures like rain water harvesting for domestic water usage and vermiculture for efficient garbage disposal are undertaken by the developers. Solar energy for street light and traditional tree plantations for long lasting and ecological green cover are also provided under the project. Carbon footprints are reduced by recyclable contraction material.
Defence Colony Pune lies in proximity, at a distance of about 3km, to Air force station, CSD canteen and City Centre. IT Park Kharadi lies at a distance of 2.5km from the Colony and educational institutions like colleges and schools lie within a radius of 2 km.
The developers have informed that an allotted shall be given possession of his /her flats given in the registration form only upon the payment of all dues, and the fees towards service of maintenance for two years.
