What is PMAY?
One of the most enthusiastic housing projects originated by the central government in 2015 – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) aims to approach the demand-supply in equanimity, give a pucca house to each household of the country and improve enduring slums with the cooperation from the private sector. But, it has now been extended to the middle-income group (MIG) as well.
There are two divisions of the housing scheme – PMAY (Gramin) and PMAY (Urban). Under PMAY (Gramin), the Government had established a target of revealing an entirety of four crores pucca houses in rural regions across the country. In urban centers, the Centre will emerge two crores budget houses under PMAY (Urban).

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – A Summary
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana which commenced with the purpose of implementing a residence to all is one of the energetic systems of the central government. ·         The houses must have washroom equipment.
·         Construction work should adhere to the national building code and authority of Indian Standards codes.
·         A sum of 6.5 % interest subvention on housing loans will be implemented for 15 years to the beneficiaries.
·         Constructed houses will be in the handle of the female head of the household. Or, should be in the collective title of the male commander of the household and his wife.
PMAY In Karnataka– Who Can Avail?

Note – Here if the candidate is a slum resident then he has to match on `For Slum dwellers’.  If
the application relates to the urban, rural or semi-urban locality then he has to match on the
second option provided in this list `Benefit under the other three components’
Step 3 – type adequate Aadhaar number and your name as discussed in the Aadhaar card. After
recording a substantial Aadhaar number you enter the application form.
Step 4 – In application register your personal details like name, address, size of the existing
dwelling unit, details of the family members, mobile number, and average annual income.
Step 5 – Implement a legitimate ID proof like passport, pan card, ration card, bank passbook
Details voter ID of the bank account like name of the bank, branch, account number, etc.,
Step 6 – Present the aspects of all the members of the household and their relation with the
head, age, Aadhaar number, different ID numbers, etc.
Note – The applicant should specify whether he is demanding for a new house or the improvement of the ancient house in the statement.
Step 7 – After registering all these features applicant has to click on the warning note or disclaimer. Then he should specify the captcha code represented on the screen. Then he has to protect the application.
If she/he requires to execute any modifications then in the corresponding link he can pick the`Edit assessment form’ to execute the required changes.  She/he can practice a printout also. Through applying assessment ID he can trace the situation or status of his application.

Household Income

 

·         0-25,000 per month: any component can be chosen
·         25,001-50000 per month: subsidy 6.5% for loans till Rs 6 lakh.
·         50,001 to 100,000 per month – Interest subsidy @ 4% on home loans till Rs 9 lakh
·         iv. 1,00,001-1,50,000 per month – 3% on home loans up to Rs 12 lakh
