Three new industrial projects in Greater Noida
Three new projects will be developed in Greater Noida- Integrated Industrial Township, Model transport hub and a Multi-modal logistic hub. This will give a huge boost to infrastructure development in Greater Noida. These three projects will impact the real estate development in Greater Noida region.
The integrated industrial township is planned to be built on 760 acres of Greater Noida. The industrial township comes 18 months after the chief minister of the state directed the GNDA (Greater Noida Development Authority) and UPSIDC (UP State Industrial Development Corporation) to identify site for the integrated industrial township. The model transport hub will be developed on 400 acres of Bodaki region in Greater Noida and the multi model logistic hub in Dadri spreads over 1200 acres. These three projects are located along the railway line, which is the major mode of transport. The projects will be carried out as first cum first serve basis for developers and builders. DMIDC and Greater Noida authorities will be sharing 50% of the development cost. This will invite many developers to develop the land. The three projects will be carried out on an equity basis, with DMIDC and Noida/Greater Noida authorities sharing 50% of the total cost. The authorities will also be required to pass on the land parcel to the companies showing interest in developing the project.
The government has also proposed to set up 5 modern police stations in the Greater Noida region for better security and enforcement. These stations will come up in Phase-3, Sector 1 and 3 of Ecoteck park. An ultra-modern traffic room, a forensic lab, a Cyber crime cell and cyber crime workshop will be established to support the police stations for the security and safety. GNDA will develop the rail network efficiently by developing Bodaki railway station and Dadri – Vallabhgarh railway station in the first phase. Greater Noida metro, Greater Noida Faridabad expressway will also be developed for the ease of access. There will be a problem of power shortage once the industries get developed, so the government is also planning for setting up a power station.
Noida – Greater Noida expressway has been developed as a commercial and residential corridor and Yamuna expressway is currently witnessing a huge scope of development in the industrial sector as well as residential sector. The development is moving in the linear way along the expressways. Now since the government has proposed three projects along railway network which is located in the eastern side of Greater Noida. This will reduce the ribbon development along the expressway. The projects is along DMIDC (Delhi Mumbai Industrial Dedicated Corridor) a freight corridor which ends at Dadri in Greater Noida. The development along DMIC(Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor) with which Gurgaon and other places in Haryana has seen a rapid growth in infrastructure development. Greater Noida in UP will now have a huge scope of development in secondary sector.
