Tips for wedding decorations in your home

Wedding is one of those occasions where the entire ambiance and surrounding is blissful and up-to-the-minute. Since a wedding involves an array of rituals which are organised in home, each of this ritual needs an apt ambiance which has to be created very carefully. Having striking wedding decorations in your home, add style, fun and spectacle to your wedding day. However if you fancy a particular mood, or simply want to create a gorgeous and memorable setting, here are few ideas on how you can go about it.

How to choose your wedding decorations?

As a matter of fact, wedding ceremonies and receptions can be held anywhere which can include a home, a boat, a mansion, a garden, a hotel, a church and so on. All of these areas have enough space to create an apt ambiance for the wedding. Perhaps you can also create the right mood in all of these areas.

Things which should be considered before you start the wedding arrangements;

Choose an apt style and mood for the wedding:

This includes the suitable type of home décor and ambiance. You can select one of the favourite themes and ensure that each and everything is matching. The themes can either be casual, romantic or sophisticated.

For a traditional wedding:

If you prefer to have a traditional wedding, make sure that you create an ambiance which gives a traditional feel and look. You can decorate your home with colourful leaves and flowers along with vermillion traces all over. Attach beads and other embellishments on all the upholstery and the ceilings. For an evening wedding ceremony, you can decorate your home with an array of colourful lights and candles along with silver and white balloons along with an ice sculpture.

Flowers for a wedding:

Flowers are the most important thing which add beauty to the occasion. You can use flowers like marigold, lilies, roses, orchids, tulips, porcelain bridal flowers, swarovski crystals, silk flowers. For a traditional wedding you can decorate your home with ivy, Peonies, long-petalled Orchids, Hydrangea, Lilac, Viuburnum, Tulips, Roses, Cymbidium Orchids, Ranunculas and lotus can be used. You can either mount these flower strings on the wall or drape them around pillars and other objects all over your home.

Plan your budget:

This is a very important aspect which should be considered while planning for the wedding. Planning your budget beforehand will give you an idea about the number of decorations which can be incorporated in the wedding. Being careful and planning your budget will help you avoid costly mistakes. If you have planned to spend a little less you can choose two or three wedding decorations which can have a prominent visual impact.

Plan it through pictures:

To make the decoration process more easily you can take pictures of all the places and plan accordingly. Once you have taken the pictures of all the places in your home, try and imagine about each place where you can mount the embellishments. Doing this will make your decoration process an easier one. Arrange suitable embellishments in each place.

Places to decorate for a wedding:

Entrance:

You can decorate the entrance of your home by mounting the most colourful wedding balloons coloured white, gold and ivory. You can also create more drama and add the wedding coloured balloons. Avoid filling in too many balloons which can block the views.
