Since the seat cover will be quiet worn out, remove it with the help of a screwdriver.
If the chair is rusted or soiled, clean it with a natural cleanser or scrape it away with the help of a brush. You can also make use of a liquid dish washer mixed in warm water to clean the surface. Ensure that it dries completely.
Irrespective of the where the chair will be used, you should give a fresh coat of paint and if the chair will be placed in the outdoor seating area or will be used as a decorative item outdoor, ensure that you cover the entire chair with a coat if rust-preventing spray primer.
Apply three layers of the rust preventing coat on the chair and let it dry before each time you apply the primer.
Use the furniture piece as a pot, as a garden accent, as a back to train the vines.
