    • Landscaping related security
One of the important failures in security is landscaping related security. Untrimmed shrubs and trees in your yard which will help burglar to hide even in day time. Leaving ladder or gardening tools in and around will help burglar to use them as tool for break-in.
    • Key hiding
You believe it or not, still now some homeowners leave their key under mat or above door. Even an inexperienced burglar can easily break-in your home, if he happens to see you placing key in or around your home.
  • Address imprinted on key tag
Some home owners will imprint their home address on key tag assuming if key is lost, finder will return them. This can even turn against your home security, if the key is got in wrong hand. Never imprint an address or your details on your key tag.

  • Exposing Interiors through windows
In the night, you should turn on lights with your drapes shut.  A lighted house in the evening or night without closing the drapes will expose the content of room to everyone walking by.

Your few minutes’ carelessness or a single mistake can give a burglar to break-in.

Instruct your family members to keep door closed unless you want to know who is on other side and never open your door to a stranger. A burglar can become active at anytime, there is no specific time for them to break-in your home. Be alert and avoid mistakes that will help burglars.
