Basil: Basil is also commonly known as Tulsi, a common herb grown in every Hindu home. Tulsi plant is also considered as the holiest according to Hindu mythology.

Coriander: Coriander, also known as dhaniya, is an essential ingredient for most Indian and some western cuisines. Coriander leaves can be dried and crushed into a powder form or used directly. Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera is one of the easiest plants to have in a home garden. With its vast medicinal and therapeutic properties, the Aloe Vera gel in raw form is useful in skin care and hair care.
