The previous name of the locality is Refugees colony, settlement formed during partition for hindus and Sikhs who moved from pakistan. At present, the area is highly posh and there are huge bungalows mostly in the size range of 400-700 sq. yd. and some even bigger than 2200  sq. yd.

Location: It is located next to rohtak road and ring road crossing in West Delhi. There are two metro stations next to main Punjabi Bagh Chowk (Punjabi Bagh MS and Shivaji Park MS).

Madipur and Paschim Puri:

Madipur is a part of west Delhi lok sabha constituency, it is situated along the rohtak road. Paschim Puri is next to this locality. Both localities are nearly the same in terms of housing and facilities availability. Mostly, there are LIG & MIG housing with some EWS quarters and DDA (Delhi Development Authority) flats/societies. These localities have large variety of ethnic diversity.
