NCR Real Estate Update for Q1 2016
•Delhi-NCR witnessed reduced residential supply when compared to the same quarter previous year. While new supply took the backseat, rental activities in Gurgaon (Sohna Road), Ghaziabad (Indirapuram) and Noida (Sec-137) regions saw increased activity.
•Interestingly, Q1, 2016 witnessed growing concentration of residential development in the sub-urban cities/towns such as Sohna (Sec-2), Greater Noida (OMICRON III, Yamuna Expressway) and Faridabad (Sec-72) with the aforementioned markets securing slots in supply and resale availability toppers.
•With majority of new residential supply oriented towards the sub-urban cities, maximum projects were in the affordable segment with 3BHK units as the most prominent configuration due to land availability.
