Simple household tips to detox your home
Things like dirty carpets, stains on the wall, clogged drains and dirty shower doors can make you depressive to live in your home. Removing dirt from furniture, kitchen utensils, walls, floors, etc may seem irksome, but fret not, by using right tricks and little thoughtfulness you can make your house look its best. Follow these simple household tips to detox your home.
Removing candle wax from the wood:
The wax that is there form years on your wooden furniture will became back and tuff as years pass by. Get a hair dryer, blow it on the wax and when the wax gets melted remove it with a paper towel and wash the surface. You can use a mixture of vinegar and water solution to clean.
Chrome fixtures:
Normally, the bathroom and bedroom gets dirty as these are the two most used and important parts of a house. For the bathroom walls when it get dark, rub lemon on the walls, stains can be removed by doing this. This can be used in kitchen also. Due to oil and cooking the walls get black patches, hence rub the lemon pulp on the patches to remove it.
Clogged drain:
The drains and pipes get clogged many a times due to food waste or waste material get stuck inside. Get a bowling cup of water with salt and a cup of baking soda and drain that solution into the pipes or chimney or wash basin.
Crayon on the walls:
If you have a toddler in your house, it’s very much sure that your walls will be filled with your kid’s artistic work. If it’s a pencil scribble, use plain eraser to rub it off. You can also use blow dryer and blow hot air on those marks and rub off with a clean towel.
Kitchen wares:
Replace all your non stick pans and bring ceramic or cast iron. Remove all the plastic storage and used glass vessels. The most important thing is so remove the plastic bottles and get lightweight metal bottles. If your refrigerator smells, keep a lemon on the racks, so that the smell will be absorbed.
